Kansas City, Mo. – DSI® has been selected by Bel Group to provide a global, mobile-first digital supply chain solution to complement and enhance their new ERP business system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations. Bel Fuse, and implementation partner Armanino, LLP, were looking for a mobile data collection solution certified for the Azure market place to increase supply chain productivity which spurred their choice of DSI’s Dynamics 365. Bel Fuse will be the first company to implement DSI ScanWorkX in factories in Gong Ming, Slovakia, Hong Kong and Switzerland.
While Microsoft Dynamics 365 will provide increased sophistication in support of internal business processes, the complete solution will span and benefit the entire supply chain with improvements in production, distribution and overall customer service levels. Given the complexity and volume of orders processed by a large number of production areas, service centers and warehouse locations, Bel Fuse sought a flexible, scalable, and configurable data collection solution to work efficiently with Dynamics 365.

With DSI ScanWorkX™ and DSI’s browser-based Enterprise Printing Platform (EPP)™, the focus will be on reducing shipping errors, significantly improving inventory visibility and accuracy, reducing inventory on hand and achieving a significant reduction of direct labor costs to perform physical inventories at all global locations. As a make-to-order manufacturer, Bel Fuse will be seeking improvements in production and shipping operations for their high availability power supplies that will be accomplished by ScanWorkX.
